If I were Arnold the only place I would be running in California or National politics is a far away as possible. Time to retire to the vinyard, assuming he has one, and watch the grapes grow.
I must ask you, David, if you happen to, like me, live in California? I'm going to have to assume you don't, because we've gone from the "Governator" in 2003 to full-blown "girlie-man" especially after the special election of 2005. Schwarzenegger is totally radioactive. There is no way in Hades that Palin would choose him to be her running mate. No way.
Why not someone like Jim DeMint or John Bolton instead? What would you think of either of them?
Darling, I'm hardly an expert! I come here for amusement and the occasional oportunity to gain insights from folks who have lived completely different lives.
As for Arnold, there was an article in the New Yorker *years ago* that explored how his hands were essentially tied on the budget because so much of CA's budget is mandated, not negotiated. The best bit of tin hattery I ever heard asserted was that the CA governorship was a stepping stone to the Austrian Presidency and a Papal plot to overtake Europe.
What would the country do with a 2012 Republican Ticket like this?
Palin for President.....Arnold for Vice-Pres!
think about it...powerful and a winning combination...
Time to begin the Campaign...as it will take billions to push out the Carville Gang...
