Uh..no, giving access to key members of his staff for money. Every President has done it, but no one more than Bill Clinton.

This was the easy ones to fine.....hundreds more, but you can find them on their own.

President George W Bush lobbyist in ‘cash for access’ row - Times Online

(Can we say bankruptcy law changes and enegry policy - im sure the access in those cases were, they were just nice guys who happened to be involved with those topics)

Very few corporations donate to a candidate or party, and in most cases, both candidates/party's, with out expectations. And they get them.

The key difference here is that a third party, not any third party a news organization. Is hawking access to the Presidents staff. The access given to supporters and lobbyists is way different than this. The 4th estate is supposed to be slepatical and impartial. This is breath taking in its breach of public trust on the part of the Post.

They are a corporation that owns a newspaper with the same name. They are involved in the publishing and media business. (Newspapers, Magazines, Broacasting, Education, Publishing, TV/Cable)

No different then NewsCorp. While they have FoxNews, they have other media intrests, that don't effect or have to agree with the content on FoxNews.

No different then any large donor who gets access.(wonder what access Enron got for their 2 million?). We know what Halliburton got from their close association.

(Right or Wrong, this is how it has been done, and is nothing new. So the sudden outrage, is not at all either)

Well that's not accurate, this isn't an offer by the parent company, this is by the paper with access to their reporters.

"The astonishing offer is detailed in a flier circulated Wednesday to a health care lobbyist, who provided it to a reporter because the lobbyist said he feels it’s a conflict for the paper to charge for access to, as the flier says, its “health care reporting and editorial staff." "

Ahhh...so now you see what it is you do.

All the sudden you want accusations proven by a quote. If only you felt the need to play by the same rules you demand of everyone else.
