Do some basic research into history.

The New Deal

Legislation was ordered for every kind of emergency: re-establishing farm credit to stop the wholesale robbery of foreclosures, financing big public projects, establishing the National Recovery Act, raising the minimum wage, spreading out jobs by shortening working hours, and encouraging the organization of labour unions. This was going to far; this was socialism, the opposition shouted. whether it was or not, it saved capitalism from complete collapse. It also inaugurated some of the finest reforms in the history of the United States. It was inspiring to see how quickly the American citizen reacted to constructive government.

I see.

Well, you've stated so much in that final post....................

Again, if you're going to acknowledge your utter ignorance of History, do not be offended when someone point it out.

Yep it worked. OK now what else can we pass? What else can we spend money on??? Oh yeah, the cap & tax, then the health care and then legalize all the illegals. This is so exciting. I can hardly wait to see what gets passed tommorrow! Oh yeah and anything bad is still Bush's fault. Can someone pass the Kool Aide?

Quote:
If the stimulus has created just one job, then unemployment is lower with it than without.
Remember this chart? Obama and his "uniquely qualified" team put it together trying to sell us on what an absolute necessity the stimulus was - Everything in blue is from the obama team - the red dots indicate the reality and how completely wrong they were.

So WITH the stimulus, unemployment would not rise above 8% - WITHOUT the stimulus, UE would rise to about 9%.

The reality; UE is much worse with the stimulus than he said it would be without the stimulus.

They admitted "once" that I've read that they were a little too optimistic in their numbers.
It was a blurb, a small article.

Should have been front headlines with an article. OK, this didn't work so we will try "X".
Where is the Plan B ?
