Insanity - absolute insanity.

Any such "fine" would be totally and completely unenforceable. Those who are "underground" today will remain underground. AND, the number of those who WILL GO UNDERGROUND will GROW like crazy!

Stupid

I am a Republican. Obamacare is Socialism, period.

You can't afford $5/month, but some how you can afford an internet connection. Odd how that works. I bet you own a car, and a color TV, microwave, have heat and AC too. I'm sure you have a ton of things that you could do without that would more than pay for health care coverage.
But why bother.. no need for personal responsibility in America.

We have medicaid now. Why do we need more medicaid?
Obamacare does one thing..ensures people who need the government will continue to vote for those who will continue to provide for those in need.
God forbid you actually have some personal responsibility for your own well being. Can't have that, those people don't need the Fed bailing them out, or paying their way.

BTW, aren't the republicans the rich wall street fat cats you liberals ***** about 24-7? Last time I checked, the liberals weren't saying it's Republicans in line for food stamps, welfare, or homeless who need Obamacare. It's their base (see Acorn) who need Obamacare.
The Rich Evil Republicans aren't exactly the ones who need government paying their way... oh wait.. you need their tax dollars to pay for those too sorry to actually be of benefit to society, and self reliant.

The Evil Rich Republicans are the ones who actually own companies who employ people who provide heath care coverage to their workers.

Shocking how that works.

My car is 20 years old, bought while my husband was alive and working. Should I sell it for the pittance I'd get (less than $1,000 probably)? And I'm not the one driving it currently - my son uses it for his 30 mile drive to work every day. My TVs are all at least 10 years old. All old enough to not be digital. Should I sell them for the $25-50 I could maybe get for them? My microwave was a Christmas gift three years ago - worth $150 when new. Should I not have heat in the winter and AC in the summer? (I live in the desert, BTW. No AC would mean heat stroke in July and August) What, exactly, should I eliminate from my monthly expenses? Without one of my sons and a cousin sharing my home and helping with those expenses, I'd either be cooked in summer, have no lights or no food. My cable bill includes TV, internet and phone. Eliminating all three would not be enough to allow me to pay for health insurance. My current income is about $800/month. But guess what? I still don't qualify for medicaid! Because they also take my cousin's and my son's income into the equation! So, as I asked before, what exactly should I do without?

And, BTW, the computer I use is an ancient machine, given to me by a friend four years ago. You want to buy me a new one? Cause no way in h*ll could I afford to replace it.

LOL very true! The liberals will use whatever insult to fit their cause. They criticize the GOP for being wealthy business minded people who want to save money on taxes who don't care about the good of the public. Now they want to accuse the GOP of being the people who show up to the ER and not pay their bill??

Which is it?
