Yep, it was the liberals that were screaming that we were going to be in a full fledged "Ice Age" by the year 2,000... Here in Alaska the Glaciers were suppose to be encroaching all around Anchorage... it didn't.

Had we had the INTERNET then, it would have been as blown up as the "Global Warming" is now, which has now been down graded to "Climate Change" so the "Chicken Little's" can still be relevant in their quest of selling panic for power and money...

The planet has done what it is doing for millions of years, and our attempt to be a "Player" in but a millisecond of it's time span is pure arrogance.

We saved the ozone layer; now for the climate

"When I was growing up in the 1980s the environmental issue of the day was the hole in the ozone layer. At first people reacted with cynicism when earnest scientists claimed the chlorofluorocarbons - CFCs - used in hairspray cans were eating away the sky and letting in too much ultraviolet radiation. The idea just seemed silly.

But the science was right, and a global deal called the Montreal Protocol saw dangerous fluorocarbons phased out remarkably quickly.

An interesting study by a NASA scientist now shows how close we came to real trouble. The world would be a very different place this century if political leaders had not listened to scientists and taken decisive action 22 years ago".

Damn straight!

We also need to rid ourselves of that godless infestation, EVOLUTION!

Allah akbar...I mean...praise the lord!

(Yesterday, I read an odd letter to the editor in my local paper. It began discussing soccer, moved for a bit to Bobby Kennedy's funeral and ended with "Obama's march toward Marxism!" I guess everything leads to Marxism for some people. Is this a medical condition? Marxism on the brain? Is it similar to that other far-right malady, homosexual on the brain?)

Every single thread you start is an anti-global warming thread. And you do it quite often. They must be paying you very well.
