I understand that the regime has arrested Iranians who work at the British embassy, not British citizens.

Well what would you do texdav, attack Iran for arresting their own citizens?
You might remember some years back when US embassy staff were held hostage in Iran, what did the US do, nothing, and those were American citizens with diplomatic immunity.

Not entirely true, we did something, but under Carter's command, and after having gutted the military, both of it's equipment, and morale, it just didnt go off to well for us. If public sentiment had'nt been running so high, Carter would have done nothing at all.

But, as it has been nothing more than a paper tiger since the early 20th century, the UK can't really do anything on it's own...
