Like many U. of C. economists -- one of whom, Austan Goolsbee, is one of Obama's key economic advisers -- Zingales believes in a limited role in government. In the face of the economic crisis, though, many at the U. of C. have adjusted their thinking to the current realities and can allow for a somewhat more active role for government.

As U.S. celebrates July 4th, rest assured that Obama is no socialist -- chicagotribune.com

Ok, how about we don't call it socialist, and instead point to the 10th amendment and point out the complete disregard President Obama has shown to the Constitution.

Actually, al Jazeera's headlines today are about the importance of the upcoming US-Russia summit meetings. You know...something substantial. Like what you don't hear coming out of the mouths of the right wing.

Are they saying that he is just a full fledged communist and not a socialist? I guess that makes sense.

Yea, only the suckers would believe anything that this lying double talking administration says.

Everything he campaigned on has been a lie.. He blatantly says one thing and does the opposite.

1. Transparency.... LIE
2. No Lobbyists.... LIE
3. No tax increases on those making under 200k..... LIE
4. Bi-partisanship..... LIE
5. Immediate withdrawl from Iraq...... LIE
6. Ending Torture and Rendition....... LIE

I could go on and on....

I may agree with some of the flip flops as far as policy goes but that doesn't negate the fact that he LIES...

My new way of trying to decipher the real agenda and stance of the administration is to listen to what they say and understand that their actions will most likely be the complete opposite.

(First poster to break out rules for radicals and try the deflection or ridicule tactics just exposes their lack of intellectual honesty and courage.... Same goes for Bush deflection and dumb "sore loser" comments)
