You know it's funny, I called my 80 year old mother and told her the news and she said the same thing, ie: "everyone is SO afraid of that woman!". I tried hard to be civil, and suggested it might not be fear of her personally but fear of her in a position of power but she was having non of it. Like most people who jump on a bandwagon my mom jumped on Palins, and damned if anything, even logic and reason, will get her off.
