Sorry, I must have misunderstood your other post if you're not a Palin supporter. That was one of the weirdest speeches I've ever heard. She even compared herself to General MacArthur at the end.
But MacArthur at least said, "I shall return" and he did!

Well, if she was not reelected as Gov., her Presidential aspirations would surely be dashed. And if she was running for reelection her opponents had the goods on her from all the dirt dished up on the campaign trail (the old saying "Those who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones" comes to mind)

Either way, whatever she has in mind wont work in 2012 if she is only halfway thru her second term, and she knows it. This guarantees a run for the President.

I look forward to this very much.

I agree....she definitely has an agenda. She is getting her "geese" in a row to run in 2012.

She's obviously quitting to prep for her presidential campaign. You can't run for president and give an honest day's work to your job as governor. This is exactly what ROnald Reagan did. He quit in 76 as governor of California and was elected in 1980.

If I was Obama I'd be shaking in my boots. It is going to be a landslide

Are you serious? At this point, she won't make it out of the primaries because she ONLY appeals to the base. If there's one thing Republicans should have learned in the last election is that you must appeal to more than the base. If that doesn't change, it will be a landslide but in Obama's favor.
