She is going to do paid speaking engagements and promote her book.
She will be doing more than that. She will be doing fund raising for the 2010 mid-terms and a bunch of other stuff that was hard to do while governor of Alaska.
Why would they remember that they only pulled mccain 20+ yrs ago and it was ok but what obama did 20+ yrs ago is irrelevant.
Calling Palin that is ok she is a Christian conservative woman with a challenged baby she had on purpose.
You did by dismissing the power of a governorship to deal with family and special needs issues, which is what my post referenced:

Being a governor already imbues one with an amplified voice. Why will you not acknowledge what is obvious?

Obviously it wasn't as you finally acknowledged in your post that other factors are involved in effecting positive change for families with special needs. Being a governor is one of those things, that is, if you don't quit on your state.

Now that she's abandoned her constituents, yes. Of course, she could have first completed her term--like any responsible, committed governor would have done. But she couldn't care less about Alaska, in her gargantuan quest for power. As for 2010: She can raise funds all she wants, but it won't matter. She's the reason that John McCain lost the election. I'm thinking there will be quite a few Republicans who won't want her anywhere near their fundraising events.
Didn't their MASTER say kids were off limits. Oh wait he just meant his kids huh!
Doesn't matter how many times anyone corrects you or posts a link to prove otherwise, does it? You're just going to ignore the fact that Obama said "families" are off limits. One more time.....

"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."
Didn't their MASTER say kids were off limits. Oh wait he just meant his kids huh!
Obama was genuinely attempting to protect palin and her children.
Of course he wasn't referring to his kids.
Nobody ever attacked or ridiculed his kids, because there's not one single damned thing to attack or ridicule.
What could anyone on either side of the aisle possibly criticize about Obama's children?
The fact that they're black?
Unlike Palin's dysfunctional brood, Obama's children seem eminently composed, well-behaved, and well-adjusted.
You missed the point. Now these people are putting values on what they feel is right and not. Playing god incompetently. Judge not want not... Obama told his supporters family is off limits. They utterly oppose that idea and in fact defiantly attack. Those people have always been on the wrong side of history. Those same people see people with different points of view and feel they must marginalize at all cost. It's them feeling threatened.
