Hmmm, sounds kind of familiar. Let me think for a moment, of where I might have heard of some group that thinks their state was illegally annexed by the United States Federal Government and wants to take back control of it.

Actually the first settlement was in XVIth century.In 1598 Juan de Onate founded it.In 1608 Santa Fe was founded and became the capital in 1610.
