I don't see anything wrong with expanding the science currently being taught. However, don't we need thereoms and studies and what's that other thing? Oh yeah...proof. Yes ultimately it's all theory but with some factual, not faith based, premise.

absolutely not. we should teach kids the truth. and by truth, I mean that cows farting is causing the earth to warm, even though we orbit fire. it's all about cows farting.

Yeah, there's absolutely no proof that there is a god thing.
Let's leave god things out of education completely.

but there is proof that cows farting is bad for the earth. we should remove the god bowling myth, and insert a myth made up on someone who relies on federal grants for employment. god belongs in education if it's a private school.
Since I believe it is safe to assume we are talking about public school here, I will say that I don't want religious dogma in the classroom. Science should be focused and what MAN knows of his environment. Despite the obvious disdain for religious beliefs that seem to be prevalent here (and maybe a little baiting as well) the core subject is a hot topic. I'm OK with people believing what they wish and holding to whatever faith gives them comfort, but faith is not an academic subject proper for public school. Neither is partisan politics, but that seems to be going on though. Lets leave our schools curriculum where it belongs. Core academics. I'm rather tired of seeing our schools becoming a battleground for the hearts and minds of our kids.
I heard that rain was angel's tears over another aborted baby.
But Dad, if that were true why was there rain before Roe v Wade?
