Many of the wealthy and powerful UBER-far left are in bed with the banks, pharma, bio tech, big oil, media and big insurance. The super left plebs of America are just learning this. KevK is one of these plebs who hasn't learned about this.

President Obama, strategizing yesterday with congressional leaders about health-care reform, complained that liberal advocacy groups ought to drop their attacks on Democratic lawmakers and devote their energy to promoting passage of comprehensive legislation.

In a pre-holiday call with half a dozen top House and Senate Democrats, Obama expressed his concern over advertisements and online campaigns targeting moderate Democrats, whom they criticize for not being fully devoted to "true" health-care reform.

"We shouldn't be focusing resources on each other," Obama opined in the call, according to three sources who participated in or listened to the conversation. "We ought to be focused on winning this debate."

Obama Unhappy With Left Wing Attacks
But...but...but....

I thought Obama WAS of the Far Left Wing.
Isn't that what YOU have been harping about for the last year and a half - That Obama is a Far Left SOCIALIST???????

Now, you are telling me he's NOT??????

Sounds to me like you've been fibbing.

Oh, sure...."We ought to be focused on winning this debate."

How about focusing on the good of the country?

Ha! Seriously, it's been well known for awhile that Obama is just another centrist.

I am glad the far left is trying to hold him accountable. Seems like the right rarely tried to hold Bush accountable.

  • What is it about Cap and Trade that you think is good? Why would you want your energy bills to skyrocket, and everything else along with it.? Do you not realize that this will mean "death" to many businesses, and that any industy that uses energy to produce a product will necessarily have to pass the added cost on to the consumer in higher prices?

Also in that bill, the last minute 300 page amendment from Dear Mr. Waxman, is the requirement that California's building code be adopted as the Federal standard. And also the requirement that before you can sell your home, a Federal Inspector inspects your home for energy efficiency, and you must upgrade to meat the latest standards. Sounds like doom for the real estate business, and also big losses in housing value. Who will be able to sell their home? Who will be able to buy a home, since anyone who can actually afford to upgrade must add that to the homes selling price. Homes simply will not sell.
As if there weren't enough things dragging down the housing market! This is just what we need.
And these two things only scratch the surface of what is wrong with "Cap 'n Tax".

"Cap and Trade" is based on a false premise: "Global Warming", which doesn't exist.
I favour national health care. If the 7 other nations of the G8 all hate it, it would seem to me that they would get rid of it. Why should Americans have to pay $70 for a prescription when the SAME prescription cost 1/2 that in Canada? This is way overdue!
I don't care about cap and trade but I do think we need to cut down on the money we send to the radical Arabs everyday so certain Americans can drive huge SUVs. The CAFE standards and the gas tax should rise alot.
As for upgrading homes for energy management, it is probably a good idea. You only need do it once and it should be good to go for the future. But I have not read the bill.

Hey, this is nothing new. The Democratic Party has historically been more of a coalition than a party. Google Will Rogers' quote about the Democratic Party and you'll see how far in the past this affliction has existed.

Obama needs to wake up and smell the coffee! 75% of Americans want a public option for health care and many of us, such as myself, want single-payer which has been completely taken out of the health care debate. These advocacy groups are targeting politicans, such as Mary Landrieu, who are taking money from the health care industry and comming out against the public option. These groups are doing what Obama himself should be doing; that is demanding that these sleezbags stop taking bribes from the health care industry and support what the majority of Americans support: a public option. These bribes are the "business as usual" that Obama vowed to change. I'd wish that progressives would stop viewing Obama as the messiah and start holding his feet to the fire because if we don't do this, the change that we voted for ain't gonna happen.
