You mean like Bush is having right now?

How despicable that you think the Willie Horton tactic is funny.

And if you need more proof, here's the United Nations sounding off, except this time it's under Obama.

U.N. Human Rights Chief Criticizes Handling of Detainees - washingtonpost.com

And more proof:

Canadian judge criticizes Guantanamo tactics - USATODAY.com

BBC NEWS | Europe | Merkel criticises Guantanamo Bay

Just because you have the perverse notion that this criticism and pressure doesn't exist doesn't make you right (or very informed for that matter).
skimming past the personal attacks, I see these are dated, respectively,
  • yesterday,
  • June 24 2009,
  • aha, at last, something from the time we're talking about, the Bush era - June 25 2008 - "Canadian judge criticizes Guantanamo tactics" - "that the U.S. military's treatment of a teenage detainee at Guantanamo Bay violated international laws against torture."
  • and Angela Merkel opined as how Gitmo should not exist, in 2006.
so, a judge in Canada criticizes the handling of a teenager...Angela Merkel murmurs disapprovingly for the record....my God! HOW could poor Bush stand up under all that PRESSURE!!!!

That's the whole problem with the liberal mindset. You look at the information and then derationalize it to make your point. Anyone who can sit there and say that Bush (and Obama for that matter) are not and have not been under pressure regarding the release of Gitmo detainees is nothing short of delusional.

I think your problem with the WLM is that it's hard for you to weasel and deflect, try as you might.

The question to which you replied wasnt about Obama, it was about Bush.

Links to reference this pressure from around the world that forced the poor Bush era officials to release the guy?

You offered the Canadian judge and Ch Merkel as examples of the horrendous international pressure faced by Bush that forced the poor bound-and-gagged hero to cave to the crazy will of the LIIIIB-RUUULS!
