While I'm on the fence about global warming (I think the proponents are over-exaggerating and the opponents are putting their heads in the sand), a couple of years of temperature drop does not necessarily signify an end to global warming.

If you take a look at:
File:Instrumental Temperature Record.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the short-time span of 120 years, temperatures have gone up. Regardless of whether you buy into global warming or not, there are times where for a couple of years, temperatures did drop. Its just a natural fluctuation. Keep in mind that 120 years is a very small snapshot.

If you want to look at a temperature graph that is a bit more informative, File:Holocene Temperature Variations.png - Wikimedia Commons

Keep in mind, the time scale on that graph starts on the left with the "present" and goes backwards 12000 years. Don't ask me how they estimated the temperatures from that far back. It probably involves measuring the water crystallization of gorilla poo or something. Crazy scientists.

Denver tied the record high yesterday-84 degrees. It's not snowing everywhere!

Actually the north atlantic will be colder with climate change since the massive influx of melting ice will cool down the north atlantic...thus, a smaller gulf stream effect. Here in California, we will have even less water and rain.

Climate change is occurring at a slow rate. This is because of the scale of the situation. However, we don't know whether the effects are reversible or able to be stopped in its tracks.

What's wrong with trying to perserve resources?

Oh, but see, that's climate change for you - such extreme/freaky phenomenon can only be due to global warming.

MF?
We had a long spring this year, and then it ran right into winter, no summer, no autumn.

Archaic temperatures are determined by, among other things, measuring the O16/O18 isotope concentration ratio in air bubbles trapped in ancient ice collected from core drilling in glaciers. Many studies have shown the isotope rations correlate with temperature and the layers in the ice core can be counted in a manner similar to counting tree growth rings. Each layer is a years worth of snow and ice preserved in a natural deep freeze.

The current weather has been predicted as a likely result of rapid climate change created instability. Instability means rapid unpredictable changes. These we are indeed getting.

Scientists are not generally considered crazy although some are a bit obsessive.

Globing warming is certainly not a gift from god or animal farting.

What human being have invent, factory/machine/mining/industry, single-hand the problem. Thus, it is indeed a man made problem.

considering that we were smack dab in the middle of a mini ice-age 120 years ago, I sure hope it warmed up.

The Little Ice Age was a time of cooler climate in most parts of the world. Although there is some disagreement about exactly when the Little Ice Age started, records suggest that temperatures began cooling around 1250 A.D. The coldest time was during the 16th and 17th Centuries. By 1850 the climate began to warm.

During the Little Ice Age, average global temperatures were 1-1.5 degree Celsius (2-3 degrees Fahrenheit) cooler than they are today. The cooler temperatures were caused by a combination of less solar activity and large volcanic eruptions. Cooling caused glaciers to advance and stunted tree growth. Livestock died, harvests failed, and humans suffered from famine and disease.

Umm.....

Cow Farts: Global Warmers Or A Load Of Hot Air?

Your scientists really need to pool the tin foil hats together to discover what is actually causing global warming!
