You could make the argument that a lot of white people hate being white cause they spend so many hours trying to darken thier skin through tanning- turning their skin to leather over the years, adding more wrinkles, and getting skin cancer for their efforts-

the roots of his hate of white people come from the colonial time when white people wanted to be black so bad, that they enslaved black women to have sex with them and have black kids.
