But it is the military that has all the power.

Kim Jong Il's palace complete with three hold golf course.

Another possible palace (there are several but thought is Kim Jong Il lives in this one).

It is the most corrupt government on the face of the planet.

So the military having the power means what for Kim Jong Il even being there at all?

I think the military are more in number, but its Kim and the others who make the rules.

It is the military elite (specifically the police apparatus) who have the palaces, the Mercedes automobiles and private highways. They know they live or die with Kim Jong Il or his son.

They are totally ruthless making Hitler appear ready for sainthood and I ain't kidding either.

Escapee gives glimpse of North prison camps

Quote:
His father, a model prisoner the guards rewarded by granting him permission to marry, was initially captured and taken to camp No. 14 with his family in 1965 after officials discovered that two of his brothers had defected to the South during the Korean war — conduct that branded the entire family and descendants three generations down as "traitors of the country."

Do you feel compassion toward hitler? How about pol pot?
I personally do not feel any type of compassion for men who would murder and torture their own people with impugnity.

Why don't you open a history book - or just google - the fate of the north korean people under kim jong il and then tell me about compassion!!
