Since the outlawing of apartheid many white south Africans that had their social status protected by the government has had that privilege taken away.
In some cases they inhabit the same ghettos that black Africans have lived in all their lives.
The black middle class unhindered by apartheid is growing by leaps and bounds, although they still only make up 10% to 20% of the middle class.

Wrong. Majority of the entrepreneurs and business people in South Africa are non-white and the country has grown remarkably since the end of apartheid.
You seem so tied up on races....hopefully you separate your professional life from your biased way of thinking.

LOL..oh please..I'm not tied up in race, I'm responding to a thread based on race. I don't separate reality from my personal or professional life as you and others of your ilk do.

I worked with a teacher in NYC who was from South Africa and left that country a few years back. I recall her telling me that the violence was so bad (rapes, thefts and murders) that her family decided to leave and call the U.S. their home. In addition she said that many whites have left South Africa and moved to Europe or the U.S because they believe the government could not protect them.
I wonder why your friend didn't leave South Africa when the police and soldiers went into the black townships and raped without fear of prosecution, did she want to leave when black men were beaten and tortured through state approved programs and their bodies never found by their families?
You mention rape, theft and murder, I'd wager and win that more black women have been raped bt white men in S.A., more black people murdered by whites in S.A and in terms of theft, the indegenous african blacks had their entire land stolen.
It must have been quite frightening for them for many decades
I hope that both black and white S.A. build a nation that ALL of it's people benefit from, but I hardly think that the white S.A. have experinced one iota of the treatment black S.A. have lived with for decades.
I do notice how easily the poor black and white mingle without violence, I think that's what happens when you share a common goal.

Were you Personally enslaved by the white man? By the way, I never stated that the white man had any rights to do what they did but two wrongs never make a right. Let me ask you this: If one of your ancestors from a 100 years back committed a crime, should you be punished for that crime when you had nothing to do with it?
I personally could care less what happens to the white in SA after everything they put my dad through. Pretty sad that he had to leave his homeland because whites were so brutal and animalistic.
