BS, Bush's FY 2009 budget produced a $1.885 Trillion deficit. Bush has the honor of busting through the trillion dollar level. Bush also owns the monthly record, over 1/2 trillion in ONE MONTH, $549 Billion Oct 2008 Bush II

And how exactly does that help eliminate the deficit and reduce the National Debt?

Oh, I get it, you're going to wait until after the US bond rating is down-graded to get serious about it.

Oh, the memories.

With the Bush administration, leaving around 600 million in debt, the Obama administration has outdone themselves with 4 trillion in 2 years!

Since that was paid back with interest, what does that bring Bush's debt down to?

You do realize that Bush's term expired on January 20th of that year? And that Obama managed to spend nearly 800 billion in "spendulus" paying off his campaign doners under that "budget", enacted after Bush left office.

Bush (aka Obama lite) was terrible for the economy, but Obama is an unmitigated disaster.

Do YOU realize that this country operates on a fiscal year basis, Oct to Oct. FY2009 belongs to Dubya.

You might want to investigate WHEN that stimulus money was spent, much of the spending didn't occur until FY2010 and beyond.

The deeper question is WHY were we in a position that required a TRAP bank bailout and a stimulus bill? You think any of that spending was the result of the financial melt down, 800,000 a month job losses and GREAT RECESSION Bush left for Obama to clean up?

Actually...it is the Senates job to submit a budget. The Democrats with majority control of congress failed to do so that year. As such, there was no "Bush budget" for 2009, much like there hasn't been a budget ever since the Dems had control of the senate. Which of course left Obama with no reigns, he was free to run wild and spend as much as he possibly could. Which he did by enacting his moronic spendulus plan and releasing additional TARP money, after Bush had elected not to. Obama's spending...belongs to Obama.

With a little luck, the adults will control the senate as of early next year. Get that whining child Harry Reid out of office and somewhere he can't hurt himself...or the country.

tissue?

Beauty of an argument, that can only come from the uniqueness still missing Bush or can't show enough of love for him. Kudos for not disappointing.
