This should have been a public poll. I would love to see all those that think Bush did a fine job. Bush was the worst President in history.

And "I wasn't too crazy about Bush"? That's would be a big understatement. I think that most Americans would agree with me considering he left office with an approval rating of about 25%.

Pollster.com: National Job Approval: President George W. Bush

Really, GWB left office with a low approval rating? Hmm, I wonder why I never heard that before. Well, anyway he also had the highest of any president ever at 92%. The next highest is 88%. It really wasn't a squeaker. Bush owns it.

Here's a scary little mental exercise. Imagine it's a cool autumn morning in 2001. As you catch glimpses of CNN on the TV in the employee break room you see what is drawing the attention of your coworkers to the set is an on-going terrorist attack against a number of target within the United States. As you are continuing to take in the magnitude of the attacks the news channel breaks away to a school room in Florida where president Obama is reading to children.

No thanks buddy! That heavy lifting was done by someone who put the interests of our nation before his political aspirations. Gore would have been a disaster too. I'll give Clinton a slightly better rating simply due to his time on the job.

No, the right person was there at the right time and he did the right thing. So when your grandchildren come up to you one day in the far future and ask why GWB still has the highest job approval rating of any president in history, you can tell them, he was the right person in the office at the right time to do the right thing.

And the economy is in the dumper.

Glad you liked him.
And you forgot to add Bill Clinton who caused 3,000 deaths on our own soil for sitting on his butt and doing nothing about terrorism when it was right in front of him.

One more time for you, we have an all volunteer military, no one was forced to go to the military at all.

Last time I checked Obama has a growing number of deaths for a President who was suppose to be so anti war.

One more time for you, check the liberals who voted to send our troops to war and then you can see that it was congress who sent them, not the President.

A ton of prominent dems voted to send them to war as well as quotes from them saying Saddam had WMD's and was a threat to us.

Stop whining all the time, we all know most liberals could care less about how many have died but you still use it as a crutch.

If anything, liberals caused the deaths of many of our brave because of your appeasing to the enemies all the time.

Give the enemies US constitutional rights so they can run free and kill more of our soliders. That's a liberal plan, not anything Bush did.

Thanks to the libs in the US they want to free terrorist so they can run right back and fight against our men and woman all over again.

Pretend your care, we all know you do not.

Most of us all have had family members in the military, and we all know it is and was an all volunteer military.

When did Obama say our troops were coming home? Or was it they are now moving on over to Afghanistan which is Obamas War.

GWB will in our lifetime be known as a great President who was light years ahead of his time in making tuff decisions that changed the world for the better.

We all know he made mistakes here and there but I really believe he did an awesome job protecting us, changing the face of the terrorist ridden middle east and wiping out terrorist who wanted to kill any American they could find.

GWB sent a message, you mess with us and you will pay for it and now Obama is running around and undoing that work with his appeasing.

Like it or not, GWB will go down as a better President then Clinton for sure which was the libs favorite hero and the one who put us in this position to begin with.

Thanks to GWB we were kept safe which is the Presidents job!

History will shut the GWB haters up one day.

George W. Bush = worst President in United States history.

What can you really say about his supporters after 8 years of remarkable failure?

As Americans, have we become a nation of morons who supported a moron who did virtually nothing right, was never above board (honest) with the American people, knew nothing about diplomacy, surrounded himself with handlers who did all his decision making for him, acted as a proverbial spokesperson for terrorists everywhere telling us constantly how scared we should all be (many were, of his and Cheney's decision making) yet he is the kind of guy "ya want to have a beer with" and he is "down to earth"?

So we can just ignore the million or so Iraqi's that died because he lied us into an unnecessary war of aggression that was never justified?

The United States is likely the dumbest industrialized nation on earth, and Bush supporters are what I call "Tip of the Spear", world leaders themselves in an appalling lack of knowledge

He holds the distinction of highest approval rating, as well as lowest approval rating. The only reason he was ever highest was the surge of patriotism and support this moron received from this nation, and all he did was ignore 3000 dead Americans in trying to convince the American people Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11
