Right now according to the only poll I pay attention to, Gallup, Obama is at a 60 percent approval rating, 32 percent not approving, 8 percent indifferent.

Break this forum into a pie chart based on that polling.

The 32 percent are going to make noise all the time, and say a split of the indifferents. So say 36 percent of posters here wll constentantly go after Obama, etc. because of anything.

The 60 percent that approve are not going to play defense because the majority opinion rules, regardless if the 32 percent have a point or not.

In life, people point out the bad instead of the good. Just look at the news and have any conversation with a human. Something negative is always brought up before something positive.

Playing off those facts, it does not surprise me that people believe there is so much opposition in terms of thread posts, comments, etc.

In reality, it is a small minority. The majority just does not point out the good. The minority opinion points out the bad, and the bad always gets more attention then the good.

Well it shouldn't be a surprise that Obama's most vociferous, and picayune, critics are the same as those who were as vociferous and picayune as before the election.
