With one thing after the other going wrong with aircrafts anymore I have flown less and less. But when a hole opens up in the roof of a plane that's enough for me. I love to travel but until the FAA gets their #$% act together and starts doing honest to gosh real inspections on each and every plane and taking those not safe for travel off the grid I am not flying anymore. I hate it that one of my kids must fly a lot because the Army says so. This is getting downright scary.
Yeah, & did you notice this newest hole? It was peeled back....peeled back. As if some creature on the wing was having some fun.
I have a good friend that flies for a regional airline. She is very critical of their current and appalled with their plan to hire an outside contractor for future maintenance. Hopefully she will have her 737 type rating by then and get away from the little birds and the cheapskates operating her airline.
BTW - I worry about her because she flies several days per week sometimes in weather I would not drive in.
Well, this old gal is flying on Saturday. . . commercial flight (although I love small planes). . . (Mesa, AZ to Billings, MT) so. . . if you never hear from me again, you can check the news to confirm the (untimely) death of this committed liberal, who refuses to worry. . . about anything! Act, I will do, when I feel moved to do it, but worry I will not!
