Team Palin got duly indignant at each of these. They took special, detailed offense. They issued statements magnifying their wounds. And, finally, the governor resigned her office, a good woman cruelly wronged.

Someone needs to fex ex me a box of tissues; we seem to be running low here on the island what with all the broken hearts over the governor's abdication.

I would but we've run out on this island, what with all the wiping of brows with relief! LOL.

Palin isn't a republican. She belongs in the neo-con RINO party, so transitioning to a third party is definitely for her.

Or in another scenario Huck wants her to stay so she doesn't run as an independent and pull some of the support he's counting on. This gets tricky for him and the other potential candidates for 2012. I think the speculation is off base. I don't think she'll be running for office ever again but could be wrong...
