Why doesnt the US army have a Base in Israel

When people are talking about bases, they are usually talking about a military base with a barracks area and large amount of personnel prepared to fight. That station only has few people to work the facility which has a Americans on the inside and a large amount of Israeli guards on the outside. That all goes for the US
arms depot storage facilities at other locations.
