$5 footlong is $8.99 in Canada

You know I had a real crude remark to respond to this thread, but I don't want to get kicked off of CD.

This advertisement seems to indicate you can get a footlong at a Subway in Canada for $5.29 Canadian:

I think the footlong is $9 in the more expensive areas. The Steven Crowder video might have not alluded to where he was when he bought it and whether any Canadian subway franchise participates.

That being said, the taxes likely send the final cost soaring. Before a UHC apologists says "well, it's just a few pennies", it's for everything you buy or consume, totaling thousands a year.

Yeah that peeves me off a bit but even worse is my Yellow Tail Shiraz costs me $13.00 a bottle and I see it advertised in the US every now and then for $5.95. That's the price we pay for living in the one of the most likable countries in the world!

Should be a new thread. Why do hateful people have no sense of humor. Or maybe it is just humor envy along with footlong envy.
