The very content of that so called chain-letter is going on in America today.
Example, please?

You use the word "I." I haven't seen this attitude. The harder I work, the more money I make. Everyone I know is basically in the same situation, so you'll need to give some examples here as well.

No. Enlighten me.

The OP has it spot on what socialism will do to America. The great equalizer will have us all living on the bottom scale.
Perhaps, but I still don't see the socialism. Furthermore, take a true socialist state - Cuba, for example - and show that everyone earns the same amount of money. I'm not saying they don't, but I'm not going to just take your word for it.

How many times do we have to go through this?
Maybe a thread in which someone actually shows where this is Obama's plan would be a nice change....

If I hadn't read it, how would I have known that the last sentence reveals it to be a chain letter?

The only freeloading/failure to try I see going on as a result of Obama getting elected is the military guy who refuses to do the job he volunteered to do because he is stupid enough to think Obama is some sort of imposter.

As others have asked, please show some examples of what you claim to be facts.

The attitude seems to have affected one Alaska governor as well. Has she blamed Obama for her failure yet?

While, I do not necessarily disagree with you about socialism. I think your reasoning is flawed and I think you are dead wrong about colleges.

Huh? What does this have to do with people who voluntarily won't work?

Again, huh? Colleges won't allow socialism in the classroom because they're so liberal? That doesn't make a bit of sense.

Y'know, the entire "truthiness" thing is supposed to be a joke.

...... seriously, threads like this should just be deleted... Americans don't even understand what socialism is... what your describing isn't really socialism, and Obama is NOT a socialist, Switzerland isn't socialist, they don't consider themselves so, find yourselves a new hot term.... Seriously, any argument you make and included vocabulary is used incorrectly completely destroys any credibility... Do you think the Nazi's were communist LOL..... (most Americans do, as thats what they were told because Fascism was already a foot so you don't want to bring awareness to an existent problem)

Secondly... your logic is completely flawed, a socialism only works if all or most put in their share of the work, if they don't, then they are expelled from said socialism, thats how it works.

On that, i'm going to take a moment to expand on all of this, there is no perfect system for the US as a whole because we are just to large and you can't make everyone happy with one system. Of which, any one single system would make many happy, and could potentially work perfectly, there is nothing wrong with socialism/communism/fascism/whatever as long as those leading are doing what they are suppose to.

However, a Socialism usually works out best, as the people themselves are given all of the power. So when people are unhappy they do something about it. Power is given directly and collectively to all of the people.

Also, ... on your little letter thing, if that were the case, no one anywhere in the world would ever amount to anything with those given principles, and it was proven in the letter. I mean seriously, that must have been a real bunch of winner in that class in the entire class couldn't figure out that if they all did collectively well they would end up collectively well.... I mean seriously... Your suggesting that people as a whole would just give up and do nothing, you really don't understand the principles of socialism or motivation apparently.

Also, that grading system does exist or something similar, its called a curve and are based on the entire classes grades collectively...
