I offer no apologies for what Kennedy did or didn't do in the Kopechne death, but to wish this man a horrible death and say it is divine retribution is awful. And don't give me any of this crap about "Libs do this, too". I don't.

Maybe you should ask your g-d to check this forum for duplicate threads before you post seeing you are unable to do it yourself!

40th anniversary of Mary Jo Kopechne’s drowning at Chappaquiddick...Kennedy's story still doubtful.

Since the crime was only manslaughter, maybe it would've been cruel to inflict it on him so early. Since Ted lived a pretty disdainful life, perhaps God wanted to judge him a little earlier than normal?

I don't have all the answers...

Who wished death upon him? I am merely offering a possible explanation as to why God chose to implant a tumor into his noggin'.

A quote from the Wikipedia page:

The Kopechne family did not bring any legal action against Senator Kennedy, but they did receive a payment of $90,904 from the Senator personally and $50,000 from his insurance company. The Kopechnes later explained their decision to not take legal action by saying that "We figured that people would think we were looking for blood money.
