I am waiting to see when Obama will release his information on what his socialist healthcare will do for people with gaids.

Give them a pill like he wants to give the old people? Afterall if they are useless Obama surely wont spend any more of my money on finding a cure for gaids will he?

Anyone hear Obamas plan on what we can do with people with gaids?

The idiot's got to be kidding. My mother is 88, she has a sister 95 and a brother pushing 100. Their mother died at 100.

So, see my doc seven times to discuss dying? Once is enough, in the coroner's office. Why waste the health care that would be better used on someone in actual need of health care. I mean, isn't that the real goal?

Have you read any of the preceding 223 posts other than the OP? It doesn't seem like it. Go back and read it through. You'll be amazed how little correlation there is between the OP and reality.

No, it doesn't "require" it. What it does is assure people that if they CHOOSE to meet with their doctor to plan end-of-life issues, then that meeting will be covered by health care, but only for a limited number of times.

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

No, no one needs to, but if someone wants to, they can do so and it will be covered. The coverage will pay one such session every 5 years, or more often if the patient gets very sick.

Dang, it's INSANE how people react to this whole health care situation.

It's one thing to disagree with it because of cost or whatever, but the chicken-little-esque attitude of most people makes us look like a nation of...well...chickens with their heads cut off. I really do wish people would stay classy when disagreeing, but I guess we've dumbed down to the point where that isn't possible anymore.

I really can't imagine this style of politics/media/stupid people getting the same play 50 years or so ago. Back then it was mostly the smartest and best educated professionals debating political issues on TV or reported by newspapers. Boring yes, but still preferable to what we have today.
