I'm saying that for eight full years the GOP tried to hang Clinton for some silly land deal in Arkansas, but proved nothing. It was rank partisanship on the part of the GOP. That chicken is coming home to roost. Good.

I'm saying that for at least two full years they tried to impeach Clinton out of office for getting a quickie from a consenting adult. Epic fail on it's own, but half of the GOP ringleaders of that lynch mob had to resign during the impeachment proceeding when their own dirty laundry showed up, and some, like GOV Sanford of SC, part of the impeachment lynch mob, now has his own dirty laundry on full, tacky display.

I'm saying that for 20 years the GOP got in bed with whack job preachers on the extreme right, like the late Jerry Falwell, and the GOP used the money and votes of those people to further their own robbery of the US Treasury, the shipping of jobs overseas, the raiding of pension funds, union busting and all the other partisan GOP activities and intentions. The religious voters in this nation got hosed by the hugely partisan GOP game playing of the last 20 years and got nothing to show for it, i.e., abortion is still legal, gay marriage is advancing, the illegals are still here and most of them will stay here because that's what the real owners of the GOP want, etc.

I'm saying that for 20 years anyone who talked about a healthcare crisis in this nation was referred to by the GOP in the vilest of partisan terms, as if going to the doctor was a crime. Many such people are on this board calling people communist or socialist or whatever for simply wanting people to see a doctor.

All that, and much more. Now that Pelosi has a say in things we suddenly get all this whining about partisanship. Oh please.

The topic is partisanship and I never said DEMs weren't partisan. You held up Pelosi as an example of partisanship and I pointed out far worse on the GOP side. It's true. If Pelosi is being partisan that's just the way it goes in DC, but she's hardly the devil you'd have us believe she is. Hey, at least she isn't your MIL.

I wonder how the proposed Healthcare plan would change if Congress was forced to be on it!
