Everybody has had plenty of time to read it. It is time to bring a final bill to the floor for a vote. We cannot sit around while 6 or 7 people hold it up any longer.

It si 6 or 7 Democrats that are holding it up in committee. Pelosi needs to call for a floor vote on it and allow the full Congress to vote yeah or nay on it. The 6 or 7 Democrats made 10 demands for the bill. The leadership has met 7 of the 10 demands. That is enough.

Geez. People on here certainly have short attention spans. The question in the poll itself is a little childish - "smash the Republicans"? Let's just hope he keeps trying to work with them and they at some point start working WITH him to fix our country rather than just trying to score political knock out points. They still think this Rove tactics work.

He's doing fine. His presidency isn't fumbled at all. The cop issue will be forgotten in a week. Really inconsequential and he dealt with it well.

No one said it would be easy fixing our country. He's doing the tough work now.

The Democrats hold a 76 seat majority. Even if 52 vote against it- which I doubt, it will still pass.

Rove tactics worked pretty darn well for 8 years! And the Republicans have no interest in working with Obama. Their only goal is to destroy Obama and the Democrats. They have been pretty clear about that. They are the enemy and, yes, they need to be smashed!

He has a great start toward that now, and I for one figure by the end of the first term, the citizens will be all to happy to be rid of this one.
Obama translated means arrogance. He is incapble of being anything other than what he is, the media adoration went to his head. The people all love him but they loved Bush I right after the gulf war ended and we all know what happened to Bush I.

Maybe he needs to take a chill pill and fly on up to New York, take in a play spending the night off at a cost of $250,000 to us taxpayers? Nothing says arrogance better than spending more money for an evenings entertainment than a working man pays in taxes for a lifetime.

I will make a prediction, in one more year his ratings will be lower than Bush W when he left office.

If the economy makes a full recovery then he will be fine. Even Bush II won reelection as Iraq spiraled and months after the Abu Garib scandal. Obama will really have to screw up to lose in 2012

Kev
This must be really hard for you to start waking up to the fact that Obama
can not find his butt with both hands
why should a bad bill be passed??
We are the ones that will suffer for it, and if you think passing it will save Obama, you are wrong and I think you know it.
He has shown he is way over his head just like we all knew and besides that, he is a hack.
Hillary tried to tell the democrats, but she was mocked.
I want reform too, but not what Obama he trying to sell us.
This is just the begining of the end, hang on, it is going to be a bumpy
ride

It can't work, it won't work.

As I remarked earlier Obamaites have been ecstatic with the uptick in the stock market over the past week but that uptick is due to cap & trade and now health care apparently being shot down.

This clown spend all last year telling the stupid and gullible how he was going to fix everything but now the stock answer appears to be "Bush!"

It's getting real old.

Besides, the government fixing anything? Does anyone believe the clowns in congress can fix anything?
