Looks like the Senate and House Bills are defining affordable as between 10 and 12.5% of your income being spent on healthcare. Subsidization for the middle class seems to be rather lacking.
Is this proposed percentage of income spent on healthcare much better than what is being spent now? I buy insurance in the most expensive manner possible, and I'd only save 2% on premiums. Don't know what increase in taxes/surcharges I'd pay.
This is the great reform? Where are the savings? Might be easier and cheaper just to raise limits on s chip programs.
Do you think these proposed rates are affordable and will help significantly reform health care?
