I have to agree with Maher because of the results of November 4, 2008. I do wonder how many of that 53% that voted the way they did are not OMG voters today.

Anyway here is some Maher for left leaners.

But it's the righties that are saps for all the horror stories about Obama's healthcare proposals resembling something like death camps. Who believes that Obama & Co are gleefully out to destroy America by making it a commie country?

How many of those people who voted for Obama do you think are saying OMG right now? I say if they had been able to listen to me Obama would not have won that election. Now we all have to suffer for their mistake.

I thought both these threads were started with the same clip from CNN and that Maher made that statement while talking to Wolf Blitzer.

I basically said the same thing in the other one...I have NEVER heard/caught Maher in a lie and he usually bases his jokes on truth...I DO think the Palinista's are stupid, but I'm just not a big Maher fan...he leans WAY to far left for me.....I can't stand Hannity et al for being lying scumbags that are extreme right wingers and as I've said a million times on here,I'm not fond of left wingers either and will pay no more attention to them than I do the others.

The fact that a good chunk of America actually pays attention to Maher and Blitzer does indicate some intellectual softness, though. That's undeniable.

Luckily, even more watch Oprah and The View, proving that America isn't really stupid -- just vulgar, shallow, and vapid.

I know, it does not make any sense at all does it? Why create a 787 billion dollar deficit busting stimulus bill, that only spends about 6% in the first seven months, when they know it will not stimulate the economy, or create jobs? Why try to pass an energy bill that they know up front, will destroy jobs and increase the cost of everyday living? Why do any of what they are doing in the 0bama administration, if they know it will harm productivity and increase costs?

Is it all about creating a monstrous, everlasting crisis, to allow them to pass legislation that the American people would never agree to if they did not believe they were in a crisis? Is it all about:

"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before." - Rahm Eammanuel Nov 2008
