It IS a shock... a politician that lied to get elected.

I am sure when the tax increases come the Party faithful and Obama true believers will simply make up some excuse...never doubt the party Or their leader.

2 Obama officials: No guarantee taxes won't go up

his chief economic adviser would not dismiss raising them on middle-class Americans as part of a health care overhaul.

Well, I fully support bringing taxes back to the 1954 levels....even the 1963 levels.

20% for the first 200,000. 80% for everything above.

So I really don't care what Obama said.
I disagree with him on this issue. (and others)

gotta just love 2 threads with the exact same title..........

If tax levels were at 80%, I'd probably stop all domestic production and begin operations in another country, especially when the savings would be substantial. I'd also take some well deserved time off and spend it with the fam.

We're in a global economy, cupcake, and 80% tax rates don't work when money and investments can zip along a wire.

Amazing how ALL those posters who went on and on and on stating categorically Obama would NOT raise taxes have.....vanished.

Typical too, cannot criticise thier leader or their party for lying.
