More people should be outraged and letting their elected officials know it. The more I pay attention, the less faith I have in the current 2 party system.
You can see it online at the various tea parties when supposed conservative politicians tried to speak....they were roundly booed if they had voted for the stimulus.

I don't have a party....

Remember Acorn? It's exactly the same way the "community activist" got elected. It was OK then though, just not now.

Does this prove that Democrat voters couldn't care less? Do these pols really want to take a chance with those suppositions you listed?

Well, it's not fair when the opposition uses your tactics against you.

But you are over-estimating moderates willingness to 'follow suit' to the hard left agenda.
The healthcare bill being proposed is no way NEAR "left". No way. It is very moderate. Most people on the left wanted a single payer system.

The economy is already on the mend and by 2010 Obama will be as popular as he was last November. Bad news for the conservatives indeed.

Not if he gets a massive new UHC and cap&trade.

Maybe we should help getting those passed because if they do pass, 2010 will be a major upheaval, benefiting republicans. But that would mean to put party before country, seeing as how if they do pass, it will virtually destroy the America we know and love.

That's why we should do all we can to make sure they fail.

You all seem to find someone or something to put the blame on when people are in disagreement with your policy makers. My neighbors and democratic friends are not "tea party people" but they are fed up, can you possibly understand that? We are tired of big government throwing our tax money away on stupid feel good programs that do little good, even for those the programs are intended. If you are on welfare, recently graduating from a liberal/shove it in your face college then I suppose you will argue in favor for this coming armegedeon. The health care program is not free, we will pay more for it to cover those who can't or won't pay, even illegals. We can barely do this for Americans and we want to add 11 million more people to an impacted system? Do the freaking math, even the government dolts are saying it wont' fly.
