It is good to get a perspective of at least a few real people, rather than politicians and a few talking heads speak for them.

"A level playing field for American companies and workers in international markets is more important than ever. I see clear evidence that the Administration understands the issue and its importance to U.S. economic health."
- W James McNerney Jr, CEO, Boeing

"I would hire him. He's handled the tremendous mess he walked into very well. He still has a daunting task ahead of him but he appears to be equal to the challenge."
- Donald J Trump, CEO, The Trump Organization

Given Obamas propensity for going after anyone that criticizes him, paying him lip service is a smart move by the polled CEOs.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's their honest opinion. There will, of course, be some CEO's that disagree. . . perhaps the ones that find it more important to line their own pockets excessively, rather than to "earn" a very nice wage by working for the financial health and well being of their companies, but heck, that's life!

It never changed but because CEOs approve of our President's performance I would not say that is necessarily a positive for middle class Americans trying to get jobs.

If something has never changed, why complain now? And if a CEO's approving Obama is a bad thing for middle class America, then a CEO (the health care CEO at the top of the article) not so happy with Obama's plan must be a good thing. Right? Or, would you prefer to have it both ways?

Why complain now? Because the results of Corporates owning Washington have come to fruition in the harshest manner in my lifetime over the last 5-10 years. How about this-A CEO's opinion on the President's performance is meaningless. I would be more compelled to see a poll of small business owners then Corporate CEOs.

Who amongst us bites the hand that feeds us?

Canned responses. Especially since Obama is keen to handing out money. Surprise there.
