From the DNC:
Quote:
Statement from DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse on the Republican Party and Allied Groups’ Mob Rule:

The Republicans and their allied groups – desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill – are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.

These mobs are bussed in by well funded, highly organized groups run by Republican operatives and funded by the special interests who are desperately trying to stop the agenda for change the President was elected to bring to Washington.
Its ironic, we have people who wish to express their views and ideas on important issues, so they gather people together who wish to express their views on important issues, the get organized and go out to confront authority. The DNC refers to them as mobs.

The DNC, is a political organization lead by a man who began his political career as a community organizer, whose job it was to gather people together, who wished to express their views on important issues, and organized them to go out to confront authority.

This is the epitome of hypocritical. Both 0bama and David Axlerod were community organizers who confront authority and politicians to express their views and move their agenda forward.

What did Cindy Sheehan say about Bush?

Sheehan: “I didn’t lose my son. I know where he is. He is buried here. He was put in a grave by George Bush and the neo-conservatives, a government of psychopathic killers.”

What did president Bush say about Cindy Sheehan, did he send the RNC out to refer to her and her supporters as a mob?

Bush: “I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan. She feels strongly about her position. And she has every right in the world to say what she believes. This is America. She has a right to her position,"

Thugs being bussed to different states by a RNC sponsored Lobbyist paid by the AMA, with written tactics to disrupt any discussion.
Sounds like the AMA is resorting to Stormtroopers

Say what you want but this plan is poorly designed.

Doesn't anyone recall the costs that were supposed to be incurred under Medicare Part D, prescription drug coverage? That the real costs were multiples of what they projected and that the whole deal was a sham.

This deal is going to be even worse and the details need to be fully discussed whether at the insistence of a mob or otherwise.

You know that both sides play these games - this business of busing peole in has been going on a long time. How do we know that the DNC chairman is correct, or even how often this happens. They would certainly like to cast a bad light on what is growing, legitimate frustration and anger from the citizens on both sides of the party aisle. They would WANT you to think that everyone protesting or questioning their elected leaders belong to "rabid mobs". Remember, the guy you are quoting is a master at shaping and delivering messages that obfuscate and mislead. As Communications Director he's paid to do that in order to put the Dems in a good light, in contrast to these "unruly" Republicans.

One can't take everything politicians say at face value. We've seen that to be true over the years, in all administrations.

I would say that the democrats are way ahead of republicans at this community organizing, heck, the leader of the Democratic Party made a name for himself as a community organizer.

What i find ironic, is the DNC is publicly trying to demonize community organizing.

Even David Axlerod is into trying to sway public opinion thru his own company

Quote:
By Howard Wolinsky

David Axelrod has long been known for his political magic. Through his AKP&D Message & Media consultancy, the campaign veteran has advised a succession of Democratic candidates since 1985, and he's now chief strategist for Senator Barack Obama's bid for President. But on the down low, Axelrod moonlights in the private sector.
From the same address in Chicago's River North neighborhood, Axelrod operates a second business, ASK Public Strategies, that discreetly plots strategy and advertising campaigns for corporate clients to tilt public opinion their way. He and his partners consider virtually everything about ASK to be top secret, from its client roster and revenue to even the number of its employees.

Sounds like you're talking about ACORN. Do you criticize them too?

This is the strategy they have come up with.

Obama and the dems/libs will try to use this strategy to ram through HC - regardless of what the polls say, regardless of the legitimate protests, regardless if no republicans vote for it.

This is what they have come up with to try and discredit and dismiss the disapproval ratings with the dem HC plans.

The media will try to assist by lumping all who criticize obama and his disastrous HC with the birthers - they will try and connect the two. They are also insinuating these normal, everyday people are being put up by the evil, greedy, villainous insurance companies.

Really, have you seen anything more transparent than this strategy of obama and the dems?

Remember when obama was telling his supporters to go out and "get in their faces"?

Here we go again...
Insulting the president = Freedom of speech
Criticizing republicans = attacking people

What happened to your "moral values"?
Are they made out of plado? Because they change every 10 seconds.

It wasn't the Republicans who sent the Hillary buses around years ago! That was my first protest and it felt so good when her UHC was defeated! We have got to beat this one too!
