sanrene, I am now fully convinced that you are on the propaganda payroll of one or more right-wing industries. You repeatedly, almost daily, post misinformation in an attempt to mislead and/or fear-bait the readers of this forum. Which often makes it nearly impossible to have a legitimate debate.
Please, point out in my post what exactly is propaganda.

Do you deny that the Left-wing group are not organizing and putting tens of millions in the kitty to push UHC through?

Similarly, the corporate industries that have the most to lose by a public health care option have launched a propaganda war, and are the ones sending those so-called "real Americans" to disrupt these rallies and derail genuine debate.
Total, complete BS regurgitated from the talking points put out by the WH and the Left.

Can you provide any evidence, at all?

They're organizing in response to the propaganda war launched and funded by corporate interests. The VAST majority of Americans want a public health option. In response to this, these corporations--drawing on the already-alienated, largely uneducated, and fearful members of the American extreme right-wing--have orchestrated an underhanded and thoroughly anti-democratic attempt to cripple this attempt on behalf of the American people.
So far, I haven't seen any "propaganda" from corporate interests. Can you point out these ads and propaganda?

According to the polls, the more you actually read what is in obamacare, the scarier it is and the polls ALL reflect that.

So...it is underhanded to read the bill and discuss what is in it?

The leftists cannot discuss the bill(s) on the merits and content - the ONLY thing they have is to attack those who are against it and demonize the HC professionals.

Over 85% of people are satisfied with their HC - those are the people that need to be convinced and this tactic by the Left will not do it.

No, not at all. But there is a difference between discussing it and yelling "kill granny" or whatever, which is how the majority of people "discuss" things these days. Oh, plus they don't actually read it,they just parrot what someone else said. Right?
The sad fact is that the average American is not equipped to discuss anything important. All they can do is repeat whatever propaganda they have heard.

New Health Care Campaign To Pour $40 Million into Push for Universal Coverage

Look at those leftists groups organizing, look at the MONEY behind them.

Of course, this is perfectly fine to those who want a total overhaul of the nation's HC. Somehow these same people find real Americans coming out to town halls to demand answers....offensive and contrived.

Who are the dishonest and disingenuous?

The American Spectator : AmSpecBlog : Progressive Groups to Spend $82 mln to Push Gov't-Run Health Care Plan

How do the leftists justify and explain trying to demonize those against UHC, but look at the money behind the push for UHC...and live with their hypocrisy?

How do they explain EVERY poll with the exact same trends - massive disapproval for obamacare?
Define "real Americans".

Every poll does not show massive disapproval for "obamacare".

Public Baffled By Health Care Arguments : NPR

When pollsters ask straight-up questions about whether people favor or oppose revamping health care, there is a little more opposition than support, Blumenthal says.

But when the surveyors ask more specific questions about what the plan might include, there is "remarkably consistent support in the 50-55 percent range," he said.

Or you can believe what Dick Morris says and that Obama is secretly trying to create a socialist nation that will have overwhelming support for the democratic party that will last for decades to come

I wholeheartedly believe hussein obama wants America to be a socialist nation and I also believe both democrats and republicans are in the pockets of the health care industry. More reason we should fight this tooth and nail until they have a final bill and present it in it's entirety to the people and congress before they sell us down the river. If this was about reducing the cost of health care why the h8ll are illegal immigrants included?

I have, independently, "looked into", health care systems in both Canada and Italy. . . I have also looked into the HUGE profits made by health care companies, HMO's, etc., here. I have had employer contributions towards health care for many years now. My costs go up dramatically each year, while benfits go down, and salary is stagnant ! I am being asked to provide $100.00 co-pays for screening procedures that are considered medially necessary. One of my best friends left a prominent HMO as a primary care Dr. because he could no longer tolerate being employed by a company that did everything in it's power to postpone and or deny Dr. ordered patient care!

I firmly believe that those with "golden parachute" health care plans, and of course, always, the very wealthy, will be able to get any care they desire, privatly. . . why in the world would I not want a non-profit health care option. .. and why in the world do you think that shouting that "the government can't do anything right" is any kind of argument. This is supposed to be a government for and by the people. at least 80% of "the people, want UHC from a non-profit plan. . . those of you who do not want that get to keep the plans you have. . . where is the downside!
And DON't tell me I am asking for "something for nothing"! I have reached the age of 64 without any major medical costs, and will likely remain "healthy" for a good long time in the future. I have a living will and a medical power of attorney to assure that when my body is ready to die, no expensive treatments will be used to postpone that! I am probably one of the ones paying for YOUR insurance!

This thread smells like a smokescreen to obscure the fact that Repubs and blue dog demos are bought and owned by the healthcare/insurance industry.

As usual, you have no proof of that. Pharma gives to all members of congress, probably more so to the dems, since they've been in charge of congress for 3 years.

The strategy and tactics from the WH and the Left is the real smokescreen - they cannot discuss the details of the plan(s) because they know it would be DOA, so instead they must attack those who have legitimate opposition to the government taking over 1/6th of this nation's economy.

I guess you lefties don't have a problem with that - but tell me, when has the government EVER run something successfully?
