I think that is only fair - and it will go a long way towards keeping premiums down.
I'm not sure but does the current plan say anything about copayments or deductibles? I get feeling everyone assumes there will be no out-of-pocket payments of any sort, outside our taxes that is.

The Democratic Plan does not - nor does the GOP plan.

Nor should it.

Why don't you go to bed. You are being rediculous on multiple threads.

That said, you can currently buy insurance with no maternity rider.

Can someone who has insurance and has recently given birth (routine/no complications) chime in with what the total cost was? I doubt too many people could afford it, planned or not.
That's why I said routine pregnancy.

Indicating that people can plan their lives if given the incentive do do so.

And what a good way that is to do your part to save the planet.

That already happens. The vet clinic I worked for received government money and performed abortions on pregnant females every once in a while. It helps with the overpopulation, and they would spay them at the same time as the procedure was done.

I'm definitely not saying that this should happen with people, but it does routinely happen with animals.

It's always funny how the rightwing only wants abortions to not be available for others but if they need it then they will pay what ever to make it happen. I find the whole heath care issue to be outlandish. I avoid doctors at all costs as they are a sure way to develop something serious.... Why is it the 2 times doctors went on strike the death rate dropped.... makes you go hmmmm

The bottom line is health care is out of control. you have doctors sticking it to insurance companies and making the rates paid abnormally high. insurance companies are too stupid to figure tthat if they chose another path they would reduce their costs by 1/2. MD's slap a BP cuff on you for no reason and they charge an extra $120. services need to be given as needed, not as what brings in the highest $ for the doctor,.

Wow, are you part of the Psychic Friends Network? Please explain how you know 99.999999999% of the abortions are performed for convenience. I know MANY women that have had them and none were done for the sake of convenience. Maybe if you met some actual women you would have a different viewpoint.
