That is a tricky thing because abortion is a legal medical procedure so why shouldn't your healthcare cover it? Makes sense.
Some people will object on moral grounds saying they don't want their money to be used for abortions, which makes sense since it'd be a government option.
I don't know what kind of coverage is available now for abortion cause I've never looked into it, but if any private insurance covers it (I would if I were private insurance, it is cheaper than costs of having the baby), then the people objecting would already be paying for it.
