I'm not a Ted Kennedy hater. I'm neutral about him. But since he's been diagnosed with terminal cancer and never shows up for any votes to help the Dems, why not let the Dem governor of Mass appoint some new blood in the Senate to help the Dems? This might be VERY important in a really close vote after all.
It would be like pulling the plug on him. Strom Thurmond stayed in the Senate up to the point where he could barely read or understand anything. I think in the Senate, honor and tradition are very important values, and replacing ailing Senators is just not something that is done.
I don't like him at all but leave him in if the alternative isn't him going to jail, I'm happy to see a state like MA with ineffective representation. It's gotten what it deserves by electing that murderer to office.
He may not be voting regularly, but he will if needed. Plus, he has a lot of power, even when he's not there to vote. I'm sure the people of Mass appreciate that.
Kennedy resign???? Never going to happen. Sen Byrd WV resign??? Never going to happen. He doesn't even know what planet he is on.
Couldn't have said it better...!! He really has no idea who he is, or where he is, but they keep electing him because he brings millions to the state for things they don't want or need, but they'll keep taken the money..!
There should be an age limit, 70 years old, max...! Same for SCJ
Once those bums find out how good like is in Washington, the only way to get them out is in a coffin..!
