I see pandering politicians say that quite often.

But you have a legitimate reason to say that, I'm sure - other than pure nationalism.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of evidence that contradicts your claims of America's intelligence.

I find it interesting that the Democrats are removing the "end of life" section of the bill. If this was a lie as indicated by T.M then why remove it? The funniest part is that this bill is far from complete and they still want it passed. So what are we passing? I just want to know what the costs to me will be and why is that such a secret?

Actually, I have faith in the intelligence of the American people. There are others however, like TM, that have the belief that most of the American people are dumb, stupid, ignorant (all words she has used to describe them).

I also have great difficulty with people like TM who exhibit EXTREME arrogance by saying that she is right (which she has said, implied and inferred) and those who disagree with her are dumb, ignorant, stupid (which again, she has said, implied and inferred).

Our representative form of government ENCOURAGES the peoples participation in the process. But when people participate, as has just happened, and the outcome of that participation is not to the liking of others (like the leftists such as TM), those people (the leftists) try to demean the intelligence and motives of the others.

That is spamming, or you are simply disparate for attention.
And each of those threads were discussing "health care reform" and didn't previously mention the suggestions offered.

Unless the forum offers automatic hypertext links between similar posts, the only logical way to pass on the information is (shudder) replicating it.

If the information contradicts your personal political beliefs, I can see why it might annoy you.

On the other hand, if you did agree with the points raised - that giving and receiving health care is entirely different from being compelled to pay for the giving and receiving, you could say so.

If they don't know what is in the bill then they can't very well give a cost.
Obama saying he'll clean up government waste to cover the cost means he doesn't know either.

None of them can say what is in the bill and how it will be paid for.

My "trivia" question was actually referencing Military Corpsman - who do field surgeries - sometime major - without necessarily having a "license" - and they perform their "duties" often under a lot of stressful conditions.

Take a chill pill - you seem to need it.

That triggers an idea!
TAX ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS...
At any retail outlet that charges a sales tax, the clerk can ask for one's proof of legal residency, nationality, etc.
If you're legal, pay the sales tax.
If you're not, pay treble...
Cha - ching...

Oh, right, they'll get their legal friends to do their shopping.

DANG.

Thank you..

You know what's funny.. there was a woman that went to an Alan Specter town hall here in PA. Since she was on the news and it was everywhere she was invited to sit at MSNBC. She was just a regular woman from PA.

But honestly.. when it came to America and what the hell wsa going on she was a complete.. well moron. She even admits she pays no attention to anything.. but then "heard" all these things about this bill and immediately jumped on the bandwagon against it. During her interview it was so obvious she was clueless

The problem with Americans is that they are NOT DUMB.. they are LAZY. We have let the government slip out of our control by sitting back and while we weren't paying attention, oru government was bought and paid for by those at the top who's only wish is to keep making more and more money..regardless of what it does to this country, to it's people.. hell even to the world economy.. as long as they still have their freakin millions what they hell do they care?

Isn't it obvious from the mortgage meltdown. These smart ecnomic geniouses who get paid obscene amounts of money to run companies made decisions NOT based on any smarts.. but based on pure greed... They were de-regulated and then they went hog wild.. give them a foot they take a mile.

The American people are brainwashed to believe what someone tells them.. and NOT to look for themselves. Meanwhile these idiots on TV only care about one thing. ratings.. the more controversy the stem up the more junk they fill your head with the more viewers they get the more money they get. They don't care about the truth, they don't care about what is right and what is wrong.. and they don't care about what is best for this counry and it's people. All they care about is being able to keep their "riches" and then some.

I'm awake now.. I've been asleep.. but I"m sick and god damned tired of watching corporations drain the people of this nation. I'm tired of watching CEO's make 400x's their average employees salaries. I'm tired of laws that are passing that benefits the country..

And yes.. that also includes the secret "deal" the president made with the drug companies.. I"m not too thrilled with that.

Insurance companies have managed, once again, to block any REAL reform to reshape this countries health care system..

It's sad.. the insurance companies will now have no real competition. .the government would have provided cheaper coverage..that maybefor once would have made the insurance companies actuall FOCUS and provide beter coverage to people.. rather than better compensation to a bunch of overpaid suits.

I'm just tired of it.. but I guess I"m a head of my time. I hope people will wake the hell u p before it's too damned late...

In the meantime.. the American people bought the soundbites and as a result did the dirty work of destroying this bill and the good parts in it that matter... and they think they've spared themselves some great misfortune.. HUH.. that is a huge joke.

Do the screamers at the town halls, who spew lies or talk about everything but health care reinforce this opinion for you?

What about our politicians who often cannot answer a yes/no question, claiming they are against socialism in all forms - except what is already in place and what they supported a month ago.
Does that also reinforce your view?

Really.
Didn't get that little nugget of wisdom from an anonymous email did you?

PolitiFact | No free health care for illegal immigrants in the health bill
