You'd think the reasonable republicans would want to stay here to keep posters like this from ruining their name. But it looks like all the good righty posters just ducked out.
Good post.
Both sides have now been stirred up to make trouble. The media is once again doing a great job in stirring up hatred.
It's when you see people on here who just cannot accept that their party is also to blame for this town hall madnes, then you realise we do have a huge problem.

Pretty hard to hire someone for something unplanned.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If anyone is towing the paid party line, it's you. In the last 3 days, there have been two rallies in Raleigh, NC opposing the healthcare bill. I attended one, along with over a thousand other people. There was no violence, there was no yelling, there were no suits or insurance reps. There were however, over 1000 normal citizens, yound and old, there to put their basic Constitutional freedoms to good use. It was a friendly environment, with people sporting T-shirts that said things like "Just one of the Mob!". The rally was held at the corner of two very busy streets in Raleigh. It lasted about an hour and a half. And in that hour, we only had "ONE" heckler, who passed by in their SUV shouting "Get a life!" Now that's awesome isn't it. Now people are being picked on for exercising their rights to assemble. And the really cool part was we were getting honks and thumbs up from so many people it was unreal. Even the firefighters passing in their trucks honked and waved. It was really a great day for freedom. And the reaction of the crowd and those who passed by leads me to believe that the people against this bill are in reality, the majority. Especially since Raleigh is known to be a liberal area. The other gathering, which was on Friday, brought a gathering of over 600 people, and was also a respectable assembly. I guess you have to go to the liberal media to find the meetings that go off course.

And the other point of this post is to point out the obvious alternate reality some of you are living in. You come here, and you talk about things you know nothing about, and you regurgitate what the mainstream media is telling you, and most of you haven't even been to one of these meetings or rallies. If you aren't getting paid for your propaganda, you should be. How many of you have read this bill? If you like, I can provide you with a website which contains the entire bill. If you haven't read it, you really have no business trying to sell it to others while talking about the supposed lies coming from the opposition. I have read most of it, and it is definately not what the supporters are making it out to be. So just this once, stop spouting the party lines, and do some actual research for yourselves. I think the biggest mistake being made is this general idea you all have that the info. coming from Washington is the truth, and all other info. is misinformation. Have you not lived here long enough to know it is the government who will sell you lies? Your faith in this increasingly socialized government agenda is astounding, and misguided. You were all to ready to accept the facts that Bush lied to take us to war. Why is it so hard for you to believe that the Obama administration is lying as well. Because in government business, the mantra is simple. They believe the end justifies the means. And if that means lying and causing massive public unrest, they have no problem with it.

I find it amusing all the complaints here from the left about republicans at these meetings. I have seen many people interviewed who had attended a meeting, and they were democrats who don't want this so called health care package passed.

Does anybody but me find it just a little strange that Kenny Gladney got up so quickly after being pulled down to the ground and then we see him walking around like he isn't injured at all in the video posted? Yet yesterday at a protest in front of the SEIU office in St.Louis he is in a wheelchair.....like I said elsewhere this guy is a scammer.
