There are many ways to get the word out. If Constituents are whipped up into a fury, it is b/c their Congressmen have not communicated through the media - and letters home to constituents - as to their positions - or they have not even attempted to explain what is being considered in committee.

If they can't communicate any better than that, no wonder people are in a froth.

What it is, is the self absorbed elitist liberals in the Democrat Congress think they do not have to respond to the "chattering masses" and they have no problem telling you that. They have time and again shown their disdain for the people.

Older people can't listen to Rush or Savage? Really? Heck, my grandpa's 85 and all he does is listen to talk radio and watch Fox News all day. Then when I visit him, I have to politely nod and appear to agree with him as he complains about Obama (and how a gov't agent's going to visit to ask how he wants to die), taxes, his disdain for environmentalists, and 'pluralism'. He knows good and well that I have a non-white girlfriend, so I know what he's trying to get at with the pluralism bit.

I'm glad that he's still in pretty good condition and all, capable of reading, writing, etc, but Christ, my gf's made cakes for the old guy!!! I guess I just don't feel like arguing with or shouting down an 85 year old. He's old so I'm not really worried about him, but some younger people with similar extreme views are the ones I'm worried about.

Of course old people can listen to Rush or Savage but I highly doubt they are his main listeners. The only thing I have seen of these two are some YouTube videos.

As to the other issue, sometimes you can't teach an old dog new tricks and I would let the isssue go. You should never raise your voice to someone of that age.

They have children and grandchildren and they are going to fight to see they are not left with the kind of socialist country hussein obama is peddling.

What eveyone needs to be aware of is it appears hussein obama wants violence, he wants this country in turmoil. It is the lessons in his Rules for Radicals playbook. Watch for the traps and make sure you are armed with cameras. There will be many left winger plants set on place to start trouble and make it appear it is conservatives.
Regarding that 'insolent, disrespectful, loud mouthed' part...what does our good friend dcslcd think of Mr. Joe Wilson?

Considering all the RW “Tea Baggers” are not likely to vote for any Democrats no matter what "concessions" we make, why listen to them at all. We should be paying attention to OUR constituents and do what they want us to do so our candidates are reelected. We Democrats do look out as the majority of the citizens of this country as well our own.
