If the government mandated this, then I'd agree, but since this is entirely voluntary, I don't see any rights being violated.

When did it become 'health insurance reform' instead of 'healthcare reform'?

Non-sequitur. On the flip-side, look at the challenges that failed. We cannot predict a case based on previous unrelated cases.

Not sure how segregation is a non sequitur. I went on for years was challenged and eventually ruled unconstitutional. It went on for a period of time before it was challenged. Just because something isn't challenged isn't evidence of it's constitutionality.

Obama has been working with people to try to get bipartisan support for this bill. Since WHEN did you think that Obama would be able to get EVERYTHING he wanted for healthcare reform? What role does CONGRESS play in this picture?

it isn't my statement!

if obama is fixing it because it does not work, why would anybody be allowed to stay behind in the "broken" system?

That is so typical of Republicanthink I just cant believe it.

obama is the one who said you could keep your own plan, not me! i just thought it was an odd thing for him to say about something that he thinks is broken.

personally, i would be happy not being forced into any mandated health insurance plan. i am happy that i don't have to get my car inspected in florida. i am in favor of less government, not more, on any level.

What is your statement?

Last time I checked Obama was the President. Since when does the President get everything he wants in any big piece of legislation like this?

Certainly you understand how getting legislation passed works, don't you?

Please explain what you mean regarding "forced into any mandated health insurance plan."

From what I understand, health insurance for Florida State employees is a very good plan. So WHY should they have to give up their plan if they want to keep it?

It's time for a reality check.

Today the White House is rolling out a new website that focuses on what reform really means for you and your family, debunks some common myths along the way and provides you with online tools and content to share the facts with friends, family and anyone else in your social network.

This is the site: Get the facts about the stability and security you get from health insurance reform | Health Insurance Reform Reality Check

How sad that the idiot rumors and lies are such a blizzard that they have to do this -- but they had to during the campaign, too.
