Not sure how segregation is a non sequitur. I went on for years was challenged and eventually ruled unconstitutional. It went on for a period of time before it was challenged. Just because something isn't challenged isn't evidence of it's constitutionality.

Obama will not get everything he wants in the healthcare bill. So he wants to "overhaul" what he sees as a broken system; the only thing left in the healthcare bill that Obama really wanted is the public option.
Obama has been working with people to try to get bipartisan support for this bill. Since WHEN did you think that Obama would be able to get EVERYTHING he wanted for healthcare reform? What role does CONGRESS play in this picture?

personally, i would be happy not being forced into any mandated health insurance plan. i am happy that i don't have to get my car inspected in florida. i am in favor of less government, not more, on any level.

Please explain what you mean regarding "forced into any mandated health insurance plan."
From what I understand, health insurance for Florida State employees is a very good plan. So WHY should they have to give up their plan if they want to keep it?
