Gabrielle Giffords Town Hall: Gun Left Behind

Is it really that serious?
Those of you who oppose reforming health care or are against the Democratic plan, do you think it's appropriate to bring guns to town halls?

I carry a concealed weapon wherever I go: The mall, grocery store, Library

This would not be any different.

Now that Obama has called out his union thugs, there has already been violence and threats against the concerned Americans that have come out to voice their opinions.

Bringing a firearm to one of these meetings is a stupid idea but I'm not surprised. Barry has moved this to the next level and by his silence of the violence and intimidation tactics of his thugs, he seems to be condoning it.

Do you usually "drop" them in public places? I can certainly see how that could look threatening if things were getting heated. This article doesn't say if the carrier had a concealed weapon permit or not, but even then it should remain "concealed" as not to cause a panic.

I am not saying it did not happen but I do not take ANYTHING that the Lieington Post has to say seriously. Do you have a less bias link? I did a search and found nothing from a main stream source.

That kind of BS will ultimately bring an end to town hall meetings imo.

As long as you have a permit to carry, I see nothing wrong unless there is a sign posted at the door "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED"

So, you would carelessly drop your gun ("concealed weapon") at any of the above places, or at a town hall meeting?

Aren't those guns registered to owners? I mean, if someone leaves a gun somewhere, can't you check to see if the gun is registered to a specific person?

Are you allowed to carry your "conceales weapon" into a BAR in the state where you live? Carrying a gun to a POLITICAL GATHERING, such as a town hall meeting, would not be any different than carrying it into a bar, IMO.

Perfectly legitimate explanation. Though you may not need your drivers license everytime and everywhere you go out I bet you always have it on you even if you're not the driver. Only people with an irrational fear of guns would find anything wrong with this.
