Default Obama's medical plan mandates in home visits by investigators

What do you think of this?

Quote:
Dirty secret No. 1 in Obamacare is about the government's coming into homes and usurping parental rights over child care and development.

It's outlined in sections 440 and 1904 of the House bill (Page 838), under the heading "home visitation programs for families with young children and families expecting children." The programs (provided via grants to states) would educate parents on child behavior and parenting skills.
When raising my children one thing I always wanted to have was representitives of the federal government trapping about the inside of my home making notes on how my kids lived.

This plan is dead. Pelosi and her communist buddies can shove it.

You're either insanely stupid or extremely paranoid if you believe this or if you believe that there are enough federal investigators to carry out the lie you're pushing.

The politboro will train because, more than anything, this piece of garbage is a 100% full employment bill for every left wing lunatic with a BA in sociology.

The bill says that the government agents, "well-trained and competent staff," would "provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains ... modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices," and "skills to interact with their child to enhance age-appropriate development."

This is a function of the federal government? Are you crazy?

LOL..So are these people "agents", "investigators" or "competent staff"? Which is it? It would be nice if one wingnut would post a link to what they are actually claiming not a blog where they spin facts. Regardless, you're not mandated to participate in the government plan no matter what it says so nothing is mandated on you. The President's health plan is pro-choice.

Default Dirty Secret No. 1 in Obamacare

Democrats have missed their last chance at ramming their Socialized Health Care scheme through before people could find out what's in it. Now, as more and more time goes by, people are reading the bills, and coming up with startling (and sometimes scary) discoveries.

Do you suppose the Founding Fathers intended the Federal government to direct families how to raise their children? They certainly didn't put any authority into the Constitution, for the govt to do that.

So why is it in this bill?

(That last question can be asked about nearly every part of the bill, of course.)

I can live with that "dirty" secret. Notice nowhere in there does it imply a usage of force. There are so many teens running around right now having babies, I'd be glad if they got a little education so that they might not raise a future hoodlum running the streets.

Well the Government does have an outstanding track record in dolling out an education.

It's the principle, not the substance. You have to look above the details to understand the real ramifications. While you may agree with government intruding into the child-raising process, would you agree with the government intruding into the child-raising process if it had a religious/anti-religious component? The problem here is not the substance, its the lack of clear lines being drawn. Most people don't trust government enough to accept this type of intrusion into their lives, especially since it opens the door to other types of interference. Precedence is everything in this country.
