So, I haven't heard what the obama supporters thought about this "real" TH - do you think it advances his cause or something else perhaps?

It's like listening to a bunch of harpies in here.

this is what I responded to, but do me a favor, lets call a truce
this tatat is boring and serves no purpose, you share what you want
and I will share what I want.
Well, in my defense it was a simile. I didn't actually call you a harpie.

But truce!

It was lame, except for a couple of questions. He needs an audience where the majority are people like you, not because it will change the minds of people like you who believe that everything he says is a lie, but in order to very clearly counter the disinformation that is out there.

At least you're somewhat honest in your response.

Nurses aren't "real" people? Or just nurses who support health care reform?

Efficient my a**! They waste more of health care provider's time, putting us on hold for endless hours while waiting for a GED clerk to approve/deny a prior auth, their obnoxious voice-activated answering systems that you have to sometimes call back several times to get the right system, etc.

They are inefficient and bloated.

Interesting comment from Obama near the end:

"Okay, I've only got time for a couple more questions. Somebody here who has a concern about health care that has not been raised, or is skeptical and suspicious and wants to make sure that -- because I don't want people thinking I just have a bunch of plants in here."

I wonder if his "handlers" preped the audience selection just a little to well then he wanted. Of course there were plants in there (i.e. - a carefully screened audience of Obama fans) and it was so obvious as to potentially embarass him. I expect he is yelling at some of his staff now "Dammit Rahm, make it at least believable next time that I have a diverse town hall meeting." I can see this already backfired on him.

Correct- they are not efficient from our perspective. that is why there is a huge conflict of interest.

How about watching the whole video or reading the whole transcript before throwing out pure conjecture? Obama said in the beginning, before he started taking questions, that the questions were not to be just by those who generally agreed with the plan already and if the questions were that he would seek out a more diverse set of questions that had disagreement with the plan.
