Nice try, but no: "33% of Fox viewers are listed as Democrats . . . Nearly four-in-ten regular Fox News viewers are Republicans (39%)"

I find MSNBC's ratings more impressive considering many cable subscribers (myself included) don't even get that channel.

That chart begs the question: How can you be a democrat and mainly watch FOX? On that same note, how can you be a Republican and mainly watch MSNBC? I can see how moderates of either side could watch CNN.

*L* Unbelievable. Can you provide support for what must be your unsubstantiated assumption that the Democrats and other non-Republicans who are watching Fox News are also voting against their parties and instead voting for Republicans? I, and other liberals I know, watched Fox News before the election. How did that turn out for you?

Have you watched Glenn Beck's show? You can't make such a show up--pure propaganda and entertainment passing itself off as actual reasonable and logical news commentary. It's pure spectacle. I feel dirty afterwards, but I still tune in sometimes.

Intelligent people gather their information from a wide variety of sources; t.v., radio, pbs, newspapers, news magazines, local informational forums, conversations with law makers, etc. etc. This results in spreading the "ratings" across a wider spectrum. Fox "news" viewers get their "news" only from Fox "news." This results in concentrating the "ratings" all in one direction. Really quite simple.

I sometimes watch MSNBC with the sound off to see the stock quotes.

It has the best ratings because of how entertaining it is.

Hell, even I would give them great ratings because of all the YUKS I get from them.
