We might learn something from someone who has seen (lived with) both sides and is in a better position to judge from experience.

And, you are absolutely correct.

The problem is though, the poster in question is trying to tell the US that the ONLY way to go - the ONLY CORRECT way is the UK style. While certainly an option, the UK UHC is NOT the "only" way to go. That's the problem with this poster. He is ALWAYS - and I do mean always, condemning the United States - telling us how "bad" we are. Telling us that "he" knows better than we do.

I hope this clears up any missed givings about my, and others responses about the poster in question.

You probably should research before you type. Merck is indeed German, founded in 1668 by Friedrich Jacob Merck. Nice try at a spin though!

As for G. If Americans can talk crap about the UK system, why can't people from UK talk about the U.S. system.
I talk about health refotm in the USA because i pay tax in the USA and will be and do pay towards other people's healthcare in the USA already.
So i suppose what some idiots on here are saying is that my money is ok to pay for roads, schools, police, wars, space erxploration etc but i must keep my mouth shut on how MY tax dollars are spent in healthcare. This just shows the kind of people now screaming for NO health refiorm.... self important and afraid of any foreign input.
Biggots is a "nice" way of labelling them

Amazing how so many on here deride Fox News so much and say it is all lies but when Fox does a story they agree with, it is gospel.
