How Health-Care Reform Will Affect Your Coverage - WSJ.com

Another WSJ thing on healthcare. What they are saying above, is the reason why private healthcare won't go away. They also aren't changing medicare, and its already making those decisions, and I don't hear people complaining about that.

You must not have been listening to various democrats who flat out admit that a public health option will lead to single payer. There is no way insurance companies can compete against a government subsidized health plan.

Use some common sense -- and place some faith in capitalism.

Just like there is "no way" Fed Ex and UPS can compete against the USPS!

It is funny that conservatives always demand that the government should get the most for our tax money- except when it comes to this. Then they think we should spend unlimited amounts of money on terminally ill people who have no hope for any quality of life.

I agree! I don't know why so many people are afraid of rationing. We can't continue to give lost causes all our resources. The "baby boomers" always want it all, we can't afford to give it to them. Why should we spend a million dollars on one boomer with cancer when we can treat a dozen younger productive people. Get over it boomers, we are getting this healthcare so you might as well sell your mcmansion if you want your hip replacement.

I would suggest you take your own advice. No matter how much you try to push this plan for Obama, the American people are just not going to go for it. Americans rock!!

Wow! I thought liberals were supposed to be the compassionate ones.

I agree. Many of the old people will let their own damn grandkids go without medical care or even education so that they can have everything they want. And I am sick of it. Somebody needs to stand up to them and tell them that they are part of the country too and we don't revolve around them.
I get it now. Let all the greedy old people die, so the young ones can have it all....forget that the youngsters will grow up to be greedy old people.
